Lee Jae Wook takes on public health doctor role in new 'Doctor on the Edge' stills

“Doctor on the Edge” released a fresh set of stills featuring Lee Jae Wook as public health doctor Do Ji Eui.

In the photos shared by ENA, Lee Jae Wook could be seen portraying his new role, including one scene where he is shown focused during surgery.

According to Soompi, “Doctor on the Edge” is a romance drama that follows Do Ji Eui, a doctor assigned to the remote island of Pyeondong, and nurse Yook Ha Ri, played by Shin Ye Eun, who is keeping a secret of her own.

As the two meet on the isolated island, they gradually grow closer while caring for the residents and navigating life in an unfamiliar place.

“Doctor on the Edge” will premiere on June 1.

In 2025, Lee Jae Wook visited the Philippines for his “Prolog” fan meet.

He is known for his roles in "Alchemy of Souls," "Extraordinary You," and "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol."
