World Cup 2026: Lisa, Alanis Morissette, Katy Perry, and more join opening performance lineup
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will launch with a multi-country series of opening ceremonies across Mexico, Canada, and the United States.
On Instagram, FIFA President Gianni Infantino outlined the expanded vision, describing the ceremonies as a “global celebration."
The opening ceremony in Mexico City will feature a lineup including Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, Danny Ocean, J Balvin, Lila Downs, Los Angeles Azules, Mana, and Tyla.
The Toronto ceremony will feature Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Elyanna, Jessie Reyez, Michael Buble, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Vegedream, and William Prince, alongside other yet-to-be-announced acts.
The Los Angeles leg of the opening celebrations will headline Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, Rema, and Tyla.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is happening from June 11 to July 19.
