Spotify marks 20 years with personalized music history feature

Spotify is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special treat for its users.

As it marks two decades of operations, the digital music streaming app surprised users with Party of the Year(s), a look back at their entire music history since joining the app.

Similar to Spotify Wrapped, Party of the Year(s) includes never-before-seen data about users’ music listening history, including:

• Your first day on Spotify
• Total number of unique songs you listened to
• First streamed song
• Your all-time most-streamed artist

The feature is accessible through the mobile app.

In April, Spotify released its all-time most-streamed lists, with Taylor Swift topping the list of most-streamed artists of all time, “Un Verano Sin Ti” by Bad Bunny named the most-streamed album of all time, and “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd hailed as the most-streamed song of all time. —Hermes Joy Tunac/JCB, GMA News
