'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Season 2 trailer opens the gates of the Earth Kingdom

We are entering the sturdy walls of the Earth Kingdom in "Avatar: The Last Airbender" Season 2!

Netflix just unveiled the trailer for the much awaited continuation of its hit live-action adaptation of the beloved cartoon, dropping us right into the impenetrable city of Ba Sing Se.

Early in the trailer, Aang is told the iconic line: "There is no war in Ba Sing Se."

The trailer also shows Aang learning earthbending from none other than Toph Beifong. There's also an encounter between the Fire Nation's royal siblings Zuko and Azula.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender" Season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on June 25.

Netflix's "Avatar: The Last Airbender" adapts the Nickelodeon cartoon that aired from 2005 to 2008. Season 1 came out in 2024.

The story follows Avatar Aang in his journey to master all four elements and end the Hundred Year War. —JCB, GMA News
