‘Heated Rivalry’ director Jacob Tierney to release book about the making of the hit series

It’s time to go back to the cottage.

Jacob Tierney, the creator and director of “Heated Rivalry,” announced that a book about the making of the breakout sports romance series is set to hit bookstore shelves later in 2026.

Titled “I’ll Believe in Anything: The Making of Heated Rivalry Season 1,” the upcoming book features annotated and never-before-seen scripts, scene directions, intimacy choreography, costume details, and exclusive insights from Tierney, executive producer Brendan Brady, and “Heated Rivalry” author Rachel Reid.

On Tuesday, Tierney and People revealed the official book cover, which shows Hudson Williams (Shane Hollander) and Connor Storrie (Ilya Rozanov) sharing a sweet moment on the ice while clad in their hockey gear.

In May, Hudson and Connor attended the Met Gala 2026 for the first time. The two also served as torchbearers at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan in January.

Following the groundbreaking success of “Heated Rivalry,” a second season was announced for 2027.

“I’ll Believe in Anything: The Making of Heated Rivalry Season 1” will be available on October 13, but is now available for pre-order.
