'Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis' launches on PlayStation in 2027

Lara Croft is back, looking better than ever!

“Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis” has been announced to launch on PlayStation 5 on February 12, 2027.

PlayStation also released a gameplay trailer which shows the in-game model of Lara Croft.

In “Legacy of Atlantis,” players will once again step into Lara's boots as she travels across Peru, Greece and Egypt.

Along the way, players will navigate dangerous landscapes, solve intricate puzzles, and battle deadly creatures.

The "Tomb Raider" video game franchise centers on archaeologist and treasure hunter Lara Croft, who travels the world searching for artifacts.

In 2024, Prime Video announced that a live action adaptation of the classic game franchise is in the works with Sophie Turner taking on the role of Lara. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA News
