Xbox Games Showcase 2026: 7 of the most exciting reveals
Xbox just unveiled the games it has in store for players in its 2026 showcase, and one thing's for sure, a load of fun awaits.
The showcase was made even more exciting as Xbox is celebrating 25 years this year.
From the new "Persona" to Xbox console exclusives, here are some of the biggest reveals:
1. Persona 6
This is not a drill: "Persona 6" is officially on the way!
Sega and Atlus unveiled the first teaser which shows only a shadowy and green-tinged cemetery.
Xbox promises to deliver a "bold, new standalone story blending heartfelt daily life and new characters with pulse-pounding, supernatural adventure."
"Persona 6" will launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC.
A trailer for "Persona 4 Revival" was also shown. The remake will be released on February 18, 2025.
2. Gears of War: E-Day
The showcase opened with a gameplay demo of "Gears of War: E-Day," taking players 14 years back to the brutal Emergence Day.
Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago face off against the Locust Horde as they attack Sera.
The game will be an Xbox exclusive and will be released on October 6.
3. Crazy Taxi World Tour
The iconic Crazy Taxi is getting a new installment!
In "Crazy Taxi World Tour," Axel goes global as he goes on missions around the world, chasing villains who stole his taxi.
"Crazy Taxi World Tour" will arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2027.
4. Castlevania: Belmont's Curse
A new "Castlevania" game has just been announced!
"Castlevania: Belmont's Curse" is set 23 years after "Dracula's Curse" and follows the adventures of a young Belmont.
It is set to launch on October 15. Pre-orders are now open.
5. Spyro: A Realm Beyond
Your favorite dragon is back for a brand new adventure.
In "Spyro: A Realm Beyond," the adorable purple dragon gets stranded in a strange realm, which gets invaded by the Scavs.
The game is described as "a new evolution of Spyro."
It is set to release in spring of 2027.
6. Clockwork Revolution
Xbox is set to release a new exclusive: "Clockwork Revolution," an RPG set in a steampunk world.
The official synopsis reads: "When your gang's heist goes sideways, you're thrown back in time and discover your reality has been altered by the ruthless Lady Ironwood. In this first-person steampunk RPG, you’ll wield a powerful device to travel between past and present, rewriting the future of the city you call home—and changing the course of history however you see fit."
It will be exclusive to the Xbox console.
7. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, DMZ
The showcase ended with a first look at "DMZ," the definitive "Call of Duty" extraction shooter experience.
Shaped by the events of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4," "DMZ" takes players to a conflict zone to recover advanced military tech left in the wake of war.
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4" and "DMZ" will be released on October 23 on Xbox Series X|S and PC. —GMA News
