'The Social Reckoning' teaser trailer takes Jeremy Strong's Mark Zuckerberg to court

Jeremy Strong breathes life into Mark Zuckerberg in the teaser trailer for "The Social Reckoning," a companion film to the 2010 film "The Social Network."

While the first film follows Zuckerberg journey into creating Facebook, the second film is based on the 2021 Wall Street Journal exposé, The Facebook Files.

The trailer introduces Mikey Madison as Facebook engineer and whistleblower Frances Haugen and Jeremy Allen White as journalist Jeff Horwitz.

In preparing for court, Zuckerberg is told, "The firehose of bad information you are injecting into the air supply is becoming jet powered."

Zuckerberg responds, "I'm a free speech absolutist."

Directed by Aaron Sorkin, "The Social Reckoning" is set to hit cinemas on October 9.

The film also stars Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen, and Bill Burr. —JCB, GMA News
