'Shrek 5': The gang ends up behind bars in official teaser trailer

Shrek and Fiona, along with their kids and Donkey, return in “Shrek 5,” and they're immediately in trouble.

In the official trailer for the upcoming installment, Donkey couldn't hide his excitement upon learning that he and Shrek are teaming up again.

“Do you know what that means? I need a makeover,” Donkey said.

In the latter part of the trailer, as Shrek (Mike Myers), Donkey (Eddie Murphy), and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) embark on another big-city adventure, they eventually end up behind bars.

The “Shrek” films follow the bright green ogre and titular character, and his hilarious adventures involving various fairytale characters. He marries Princess Fiona of Far Far Away, whereas Donkey is his trusty sidekick.

The last film of the franchise, “Shrek Forever After” was released in 2010, where Shrek is stressed out about the responsibilities of being a family man and gets tricked by Rumpelstiltskin into going back to his life of solitude.
