'Cyberpunk: Edgerunners' Season 2 gathers a new crew in first teaser

A new story is unfolding in the streets of Night City.

Netflix has finally unveiled details about the upcoming second season of "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners," including a group photo of the new crew.

The streaming giant also shared a teaser video, bringing fans back to the neon-lit streets of Night City, and giving glimpses at guns and blood, cyberpsychosis, violent fights, and explosions and car chases.

"New crew. Same chaos. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is coming this fall," Netflix wrote in the announcement.

Director Kai Ikarashi and designer Kanno Ichigo returns for the standalone story.

The first season was released in 2022 and quickly grew a cult following.

The series is inspired by the video game "Cyberpunk 2077," and is set in the same universe.

"Cyberpunk 2077," released in 2020, is an open world RPG that follows the protagonist, V, in her race for survival. —JCB, GMA News
