'Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration' to debut in Manila this September

Fans of the Wizarding World will soon have the chance to step into one of the most memorable moments from the “Harry Potter” series as “Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration” makes its Philippine debut later this year.

The immersive event, presented by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment and Fever in collaboration with GMG Productions, will open at The Space at Solaire Resort Entertainment City in Parañaque beginning September 3.

Inspired by the iconic Yule Ball from the Triwizard Tournament, the two-hour interactive experience invites guests to celebrate the magical occasion through live performances, themed activities, food and drinks, and photo opportunities.

According to organizers, guests will be welcomed with dances and introductions before taking part in activities such as the Champions Waltz, a dance-off competition, and a fashion parade recognizing attendees with the best Wizarding World-inspired formal attire.

Dressing up is optional, but visitors are encouraged to come in their finest wizarding ball outfits. Two Masters of Ceremony, accompanied by Hogwarts house representatives, will guide guests throughout the celebration.

The venue will also feature a Yule Ball market selling official merchandise, along with themed beverages created exclusively for the event.

For the Manila run, The Space at Solaire will be transformed into a winter-inspired ballroom reminiscent of Hogwarts’ Great Hall, complete with silver drapery, Christmas trees, festive decorations, and themed scenic installations designed as photo spots. The event will also feature music adapted from the original “Harry Potter” film soundtrack.

The Manila stop follows previous editions of the experience held in Milan, Montreal, Sydney, and Mexico City.

Public ticket sales begin July 21 via TicketWorld. General admission tickets start at P2,750, while tickets for children aged 4 to 10 attending Family Sessions begin at P1,500. Four-ticket bundles start at P9,000.

VIP tickets start at P4,250 and include early access to the pre-show area, a complimentary photo print, an exclusive VIP lanyard, a food-and-beverage item, and a special merchandise item. Senior citizen and PWD tickets start at P2,200. Premium pricing will apply to select dates and sessions.
