La Mesa Ecopark announces new entrance fee rate for non-QC residents

La Mesa Ecopark announced a new entrance fee rate for non-residents of Quezon City.

According to the park, the admission fee for non-QCitizens is now P50, which will take effect on Saturday, August 1. The admission fee was previously priced at P20.

QC residents can continue to enjoy the park for free as long as they have their QCitizen identification card and have liked the park's Facebook page or followed its Instagram account.

La Mesa Ecopark's Phase 2 is also now open to the public. It features the picnic area, lagoon, amphitheater, and ponds, all of which are free to use by visitors.

At Phase 1, visitors can find the eco-viewing deck, the BiodiverCity exhibit, and another picnic area.

Other spaces and activities in the park come with minimal fees, such as the pavilions, fishing area, butterfly garden, team building area, flower hill, nature trail, bike rentals, nipa hut rentals, and the badminton/pickleball court

The La Mesa Ecopark is a 33-hectare public park located at the La Mesa Watershed Reservation and near the La Mesa Dam.

It is home to over 220 species of plants and animals, based on an assessment done in the area. The park is not just the perfect spot to reconnect with nature, but also for one to be made aware of the importance of caring for the environment.

It reopened to the public in June 2024 after temporarily closing due to management changes. It is now under the stewardship of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System.
