H.E.R. sings 'Maging Sino Ka Man' during karaoke night in New York City
H.E.R. just showed her Filipino throat chakra as she sang a classic OPM song during a karaoke session in New York City!
On Instagram, New York-based Filipino restaurant Kalye shared a video of the Filipino-American singer belting out the classic hit "Maging Sino Ka Man" during the restaurant's karaoke night, dubbed Kalyeoke.
"When H.E.R. makes a special guest appearance at Kalyeoke," the restaurant wrote in the caption, while also tagging Sharon Cuneta, whose rendition of the Rey Valera song is among the most popular versions.
In the comments section, the Megastar’s daughter, KC Concepcion appeared touched by the performance, simply writing, "Awww."

“Maging Sino Ka Man” was originally sang by Valera in 1979. In a 2023 "Fast Talk" interview, the prolific songwriter said the song was among those he wrote at a cemetery in Bulacan.
In 1991, Sharon released her own version of the song which became the official soundtrack of her movie “Maging Sino Ka Man” with Robin Padilla.
Born as Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, H.E.R. is known for the songs “Could’ve Been,” “Every Kind of Way,” and “Focus” among others.
