Xonara enters new chapter with grungy 'Pula' MV

P-pop girl group Xonara has kicked off a bold new chapter with the release of the music video for their latest single, “Pula.”

Dropped on Friday, the music video highlights the group's stronger and more confident image through moody visuals, retro outfits, and a powerful choreography.

“Pula” serves as Xonara's first comeback since making their debut with “Tabi.”

The song embraces themes of empowerment and confidence while drawing inspiration from the Filipino word for the color red and the phrase "pull up," reflecting the group's fearless new direction.

To mark the launch of “Pula,” the group also met fans during the first stop of “XONARA's World” at Trinoma in Quezon City on Friday.

Xonara had a grand launch event in Escolta, Manila in May. They are the first girl group of 1Z Entertainment, the company founded by SB19.

They dropped their debut single "Tabi" in the same month.

Before their official debut, Xonara performed at SB19's Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale concert and the Aurora Music Festival.

The group is composed of seven members: Eurekah, Tin, Dominique, Ella, Namie, Lei, and Megumi. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA News
