'Genshin Impact' officially opens the doors to Snezhnaya
At long last, we have arrived at the final region of "Genshin Impact" — Snezhnaya!
"Genshin Impact" has launched its 7.0 update, unlocking the long-awaited land of ice and snow, ruled by the mysterious Tsaritsa and home to the Fatui.
This seventh stop, which comes after six years of waiting among players, marks the beginning of the end of the story of the Traveler and their lost twin. Since the video game's launch in 2020, it has taken players to the regions Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, and Nod Krai, which is considered part of Snezhnaya.
However, the devs previously hinted that it might not be the end for "Genshin Impact."
Combat designer Aquaria said, "Please rest assured, we will neither rush toward a forced or inexplicable ending to the story, nor extend it purely for commercial reasons."
"We believe that this journey carries its own meaning, in the past, in the present, and in the future as well," he added. "As a product, evolution is an ongoing and perhaps eternal challenge."
"Genshin Impact" is also set to be adapted into anime.
In February, Japanese animated company Ufotable unveiled a brief teaser of the project. —JCB, GMA News
