National Book Store reopens for orders and deliveries, introduces text-to-order feature in select areas

National Book Store finally reopens its online store for delivery, in case the sudden work-from-home arrangement has left you running out of office supplies or the double extension of enhanced community quarantine has allowed you to finish that book.

NBS can accept orders online at any time but they will be processing orders between 9am-4pm only. With limited man power and logistical issues to iron out, delivery could take longer than its 7-15 day delivery promise. It shouldn't be too much of a problem as customers can also book their preferred delivery service to expedite their orders. For more FAQs, click this link.

But here's an even better ECQ development: NBS introduces the text-to-order feature to customers in Metro Manila, Cebu, and Baguio. It allows customers to simply text what they need to the branch assigned to their location and NBS will have them ready in 1-2 days.

But a fine print: The text-to-order service will have you pick up your orders from the stores, or book your preferred delivery-on-demand service. Read more FAQs here.

The service is open from 9am-4pm, with messages received after 4pm processed the next day. Customers only need to text the following numbers assigned to their area:

  • NBS Glorietta: +63915 4224315/ +63936 499 1576 (servicing Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Pasay, Pateros, Taguig)
  • NBS Power Plant Mall: +63906 3753425 (servicing Makati, Mandaluyong, Pasig)
  • NBS Quezon Avenue: +63926 0052298/ +63967 3252334 (servicing Caloocan, Malabon, Manila, Navotas, Valenzuela)
