Amid Typhoon Ulysses: What malls are open and what are temporarily closed?


Several mall are still open to serve the public should they have needs amid Typhoon Ulysses.

In separate announcements on their respective social media pages, mall operators announced that they will be temporarily closing malls affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses.

In an interview on Dobol B sa News TV, SM Supermalls president Steven Tan said all SM Malls are open except the one in Marilao Bulacan.

On Facebook, SM Supermalls said they will accommodate those affected by the typhoon and wish to seek temporary shelter. The overnight parking fee is also waived as of November 11. 

SM also said anyone can use their free WiFi, charging stations, and ask assistance from their help desks.

Meanwhile, Ayala Malls announced on Facebook that all malls will continue to be open except five: Ayala Malls Feliz, Ayala Malls Marikina, Ayala Malls Clover Leaf, Harbor Point, and Marquee.

Robinsons will has closed malls in areas affected by the typhoon, as well. They are: Robinsons Place Antipolo, Cainta, Starmills Pampanga, Robinsons Angeles, Robinsons Place Malolos, Robinsons Tagaytay, Luisita, and Metro East.

Typhoon Ulysses has brought heavy downpour in Metro Manila and across Luzon, causing widespread flashfloods in affected areas.

In its 11am weather bulletin, PAGASA said the typhoon is already located in the West Philippine Sea .
