Margaret Zhang, 27, is the newest, youngest editor in chief at Vogue


Margaret Zhang, 27, has been appointed the new editor in chief of Vogue China.

According to Vogue, she is also the youngest to reach the milestone at the fashion magazine.

“I am so delighted that Margaret is our new editor-in-chief of Vogue China. Her international experience, exceptional multi-platform digital expertise and wide-ranging interests are the perfect combination to lead Vogue China into the future,” said Anna Wintour, Vogue editor in chief and global editorial director.

Margaret is currently in Sydney, but is planning to relocate to Beijing once it is possible to do so.

“This new role is an incredible opportunity to combine my background, my skills and my interests,” she said.

The new editor in chief also shared the news through her Instagram account, saying she’s excited with her new role.

“What MOMENTOUS news to be kicking off the New Year with: stoked to announce that I’ll be joining VOGUE China as their Editor-in-Chief,” she wrote in the caption.
