Heart Evangelista brought 8 bags of wardrobe for ‘I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’

Are you ready to see the fashion of Heart Evangelista as Celeste Estrellado on "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon"?

In a virtual press event on Friday, the Kapuso style icon said she brought 8 luggage bags of wardrobe to be worn by her fabulous character.

"May sariling sasakyan!" her co-star Paolo Contis interjected.

"Yeah, kasi hindi talaga kaya," Heart said.

"And, if I'm gonna do it ayaw ko ng half take. I really wanna go all out," she added.

According to Queen of Creative Collaborations, "I Left My Heart in Sorsogon" was the perfect opportunity to wear certain pieces she had in her closet for a while.

"I felt like na, now is the time to use everything, kasi sayang, ang dami," she said.

Heart’s character will also be wearing gifts that designers from all over the world have sent to her during the pandemic.

"But I really did enjoy the process of really looking what's already in my closet, what I can reuse, what I can mix it with," she said.

"I'm very very thankful that I have, in the past, worked with a lot of designers from here, also from abroad that were able to send a lot of stuff, and let me blend or borrow a lot of dresses for the show so nakakatuwa—may narating 'yung kaartehan ko."

"I Left My Heart in Sorsogon" premieres this Nov. 15 on GMA-7.

Heart is making her big primetime comeback as Celeste, a beautiful and headstrong city-based designer who somehow finds her way back to Sorsogon and gets caught in a love triangle with two men: Mikoy (Paolo Contis) and Tonito (Richard Yap).

The 36-year-old Filipino actress, host and style icon, who has been included in the Vogue 100, has given a sneak peek of her dreamy wardrobe which includes pieces by Mark Bumgarner, Dolce and Gabbana, Pat Dy, Christian Dior and, of course, Chanel. – RC, GMA News
