Longchamp drops summer versions of its famous bags, and we're here for it!

Who else drooled on Longchamp's Le Pliage Filet since it made a cameo on "Emily in Paris" S2 as Emily's market bag? Well guess what. It belongs to the French brand's Spring/Summer 2022 collection, along with the Torchon line.

This season has the Le Pliage is also available in XS, with larger top handle bag sizes with new colors in Blush (pink) and Ecru (dirty white).

Sure you can do an Emily and take it with you to the market but because we're in the tropics and dry season has just been announced, we're also thinking: it's perfect for beach trips.

Another masterpiece in this collection is the reimagined classic Le Pliage Torchon. Longchamp has collaborated with Charvet, a purveyor of the finest French linen tea towels, to create the season's must-have iteration of the iconic Le Pliage— a white linen tote bag with a vertical red and blue stripe.

Aside from the Torchon and Filet, this season's key bags reference traditional straw baskets and bucket shapes. The emblematic Roseau is reinterpreted as a bucket bag in supple-grained leather and LGP jacquard canvas.
