GMA Gala Night: Five best-dressed women

Kapuso celebrities of all ages brought out their A-game to the red carpet of the recently concluded GMA Gala Night held at Shangri-La The Fort in Bonifacio Global City to each show off their “Old Holywood” themed gowns and suits as they celebrate GMA’s 72nd anniversary.

While all Kapusos looked incredibly impressive last night, these five women just shone the brightest.

Bianca Umali

Bianca Umali was definitely a scene stealer as she walked on the red carpet of GMA Gala Night with her sequin-filled dazzling gown by Val Taguba inspired by Greta Garbo’s 1931 film Mata Hari matched with her diamond dripping headdress.

Bianca bagged the Belo Beauty of The Night award and Beautederm Scene Stealer Award during the awarding ceremony.

Rhian Ramos

Rhian Ramos, the Frontrow Female Icon of the night, described her look as an ode to the “1920s Hollywood era,” when people confidently explored different ways to express themselves. For the GMA Gala Night, Rhian wore a skin-toned sheer dress filled with dripping diamonds and paired with a white hood.

Sofia Pablo

Sofia Pablo was undoubtedly a crowd favorite as she bagged the TikTok Crowd Favorite Award (Female) with her AJ Javier gown. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn and 1950’s Dior and Givenchy, Sofia’s ensemble was bedazzled with 33,000 crystals—all hand-placed with tender care.

Sanya Lopez

Sanya Lopez defined “Hot Maria Clara” set in an Old Hollywood era with her custom Michael Leyva number. The white faux fur added highlights to Sanya’s body-hugging crystal-filled gown. With her mesmerizing ensemble, Sanya took home the Sparkle Star of The Night (Female) award.

Beauty Gonzalez

Beauty Gonzalez combined the power of black and white to create the perfect “Old Hollywood” number, but what made this look stand out was the exquisite set of heirloom pieces Beauty wore. Mark Bumgarner designed her sleek gown, while the 1930s Art Deco necklace, earrings, and ring with Colombian Emeralds and Diamonds were from Riqueza Fine Jewellery.
