Heart Evangelista's dramatic puff sleeves at GMA Gala Night is an Old Hollywood take on Filipiniana

Heart Evangelista made a bold statement on the red carpet of the GMA Gala Night when she wore a Filipiniana-like silhouette while still staying true to the "Old Hollywood" monochrome.

Designed by Paris-based haute couture Ashi Studios, Heart's gown featured puff sleeves with long fringes, a plunging neckline, and a low back detail set in a shimmering black material.

After the Kapuso actress and international fashion icon accompanied Sen. Chiz Escudero in the State of the Nation Address last Monday, it was Heart's time to shine at the GMA Gala Night while her husband held her by the hand.

In a true Heart fashion, she paired her mesmerizing gown with an 18 karat white gold Bulgari Serpenti Necklace worth over P12 million.
