Heart Evangelista on her summer-inspired haircut: 'I wanted something fresh'

Heart Evangelista is summer ready with her new A-line Bob haircut!

During the media launch of RLC's newest property Mantawi Residences, held in Mott 32 in Cebu, Heart said she decided to cut her hair short because of the summer heat in the Philippines.

"Honestly kasi nawawalan na ako ng time, [so] I just wanted something fresh. Mainit na eh," the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations told the members of the press.

According to Heart, aside from wanting a refreshed look, her new haircut also allows her to show off her new ear piercings.

"I just got my ears pierced, so I needed to show it off, so ni-cut ko na hair ko," Heart said, ending her statement with a playful "charot."

The Sparkle star is a long-time ambassador of RLC Residences. Previously, her collaboration project with RLC, dubbed "Love Marie Designs," let her design her own condo unit at The Sapphire Bloc.

Heart also released a line of aromatherapy candles exclusively dedicated to welcoming new RLC Residences homeowners.

Heart has been juggling her life between Manila and Paris every now and then. Earlier this month, Heart gave a sneak peek at her "little hideaway" in the City of Lights.
