Bretman Rock cries out of joy for gracing Vogue Philippines' first pride cover

Bretman Rock couldn't hide his joy for being the first-ever gay man to grace Vogue Philippines' Pride cover.

On Instagram Stories, the Filipino-American content creator shared the fashion magazine's cover, where he donned a green suit and a pair of trousers with a white sleeveless top underneath.

The 24-year-old then posted videos of him crying out of joy for being the face of Vogue's Pride Month issue.

"I just want to say this is Vogue Philippines' first pride cover," Bretman said while in tears.

"This is my country's first Vogue Philippines pride cover, and to be part of it, I'm not even part of it, I am it," he added.

Bretman said he couldn't help but be overjoyed because he worked so hard to be where he is in his career.

"I waited my turn, and I deserve every single [megapixel] on that image," he wrote on his IG Story.

"This truly is a big deal, and I really wish, I hope that every brown queer kid gets to have their Vogue cover one day because every queer kid deserves to feel like this," he added.

Last March, Bretman was in the Philippines early this month for the book-signing events of his memoir, "You're That Bitch." Following this, he dedicated his success to his younger self.
