It's official: "Barbie" will hit Philippine cinemas this month, as the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) allows its screening.

What better way to watch the much-anticipated film than channeling Barbie's style in the best Barbiecore way possible?

In case you didn't know, Barbiecore is a fashion trend where people dress up pretty much like Barbie — in pink and high heels.

Since 2019, the trend has been gaining popularity, with over 496 million views on the TikTok hashtag #barbiecore and hundreds of Pinterest boards inspired by it.

It is finally set to hit Philippine cinemas starting on July 19 after the MTRCB released a statement that said it found no basis to ban "Barbie" in the Philippines over an alleged depiction of China's nine-dash-line map.

Last month, Vietnam banned "Barbie" from domestic distribution over a scene featuring China's nine-dash-line map.
