Sen. Robin Padilla wears a Barong that's less than P7,000 for Senate opening session

Senator Robin Padilla is going for a modest look for the opening of the Second Regular Session of the 19th Congress in the Senate on Monday.

According to a press statement from his office, the actor-turned-politician's barong is made of silk cocoon fabric. It's made by the popular brand Onesimus and he purchased it for less than P7,000.

As seen in the photo, Robin paired the barong with khaki trousers, and had on an undershirt that featured a print of Filipino hero Andres Bonifacio.

In the photos, the senator posed with the Katipunan revolutionary flag and the Philippine flag behind him.
