Heart Evangelista opens the runway for Michael Leyva's 'Isang Pilipinas' fashion show

No one opens a runway quite like Heart Evangelista!

In the recently concluded fashion show dubbed “Isang Pilipinas” by Filipino designer Michael Leyva, Heart was the first to walk the runway with a Filipiniana adorned with thousands of white pearls.

On Instagram, the Kapuso star and international fashion icon shared a reel summarizing her experience walking on the runway. In the video, Heart was seen walking graciously on the runway like a modern Maria Clara, as her gown beautifully swayed with her every step.

“A night to remember,” Heart said in the caption with a white heart emoji.

“It was an honor for me to open your show[.] Thank you, [Michael],” she added. “It is your time[,] and this is how it’s celebrated.”

Aside from Heart, Scarlet Snow Belo, the adorable daughter of Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, also graced the fashion show with a red Filipiniana embossed with floral elements on the waist.

Just recently, Heart attended an Italian Embassy event with her husband, Senator Chiz Escudero, and married couple Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah Geronimo joined them.

Last month, Heart also graced the much-anticipated GMA Gala Night and the 2nd State of the Nation Address of President Bongbong Marcos.
