Liza Soberano dons a modern Terno top in an LA event

Liza Soberano is repping the Philippines wherever she goes!

The newly minted Hollywood actress recently attended the first Moon Rising Gala of music collective 88rising in Los Angeles, California, and she shared her outfit for the night on Instagram.

During the event, the “Lisa Frankenstein” actress donned a modern interpretation of a Terno top adorned with feathers and gems, which she paired it with black bell-bottom jeans.

“First ever Moon Rising Gala!” Liza wrote in the caption. “Thanks for having me, 88rising.”

Liza's top was made by Filipino fashion designer Dennis Lustico, who also made the beautiful pink Ternos that Fil-Am actress Ana Cruz Kayne wore at a couple of "Barbie" premieres last year.

On her post, Lustico thanked Liza "for wearing our heritage."

The Filipina actress has been making waves after her first Hollywood project, “Lisa Frankenstein,” hit cinemas this month.

Liza plays Taffy, the popular yet kind girl who is also Lisa’s stepsister. Her performance has been receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike. American filmmaker Jo Russo and Liza’s boyfriend Enrique Gil are also among those who are impressed.
