Heart Evangelista receives ‘Global Fashion Influencer of the Year’ award at EMIGALA 2025
Heart Evangelista has received her “Global Fashion Influencer of the Year” trophy from this year’s EMIGALA Awards.
The Kapuso Global Fashion Icon received the award wearing a strapless white gown with pearl accents by Michael Leyva.
On her Instagram account, Heart expressed gratitude for the recognition.
“Grateful to be part of a night that celebrates beauty in its boldest, brightest form—thank you [EMIGALA] for the honor,” she wrote.
The awarding ceremony was held in Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai, where Lebanese TV host Joelle Mardinian and Dubai-based Filipino designer Michael Cinco presented the award to Heart.
In her speech, Heart first made sure to take the moment to "show appreciation" to Michael, whom she called a "legend" before introducing herself as an actress from the Philippines.
"Many moons ago I have played different characters in telenovelas and cinemas but there is nothing as satisfying, freeing, and liberating than to play my most important role, which is playing myself," Heart said.
"Tonight this is very — it's my testament that you just have to allow yourself to be. Be confident with the kind of heart that you have, that no matter what happens, where life takes you, that even if you have your insecurities and sometimes your downfalls, you have to believe that the sincerity of the heart will always win and you will bloom."
Last month, Heart also emerged as the top celebrity at Paris Haute Couture Week 2025 by Launchmetrics.
She also previously collaborated with Indonesian luxury brand Voneworld for a limited-edition bag dubbed “Love Bag.”
