Heart Evangelista becomes first PH ambassador of int'l footwear brand

Heart Evangelista has officially become the first Philippine ambassador of the international footwear brand FitFlop.

On Instagram, the Global Fashion Icon shared a sneak peek of her partnership launch with the brand held at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.

During the event, Heart wore a pair of boots that are part of a collection she curated for her collaboration with the brand.

"It's been what? 27 years and I wouldn't think that at this day and age, I just turned 40, that I still get to do what I love doing," she said.

 "And so it just gives me a little tap in the back na parang you just have to be consistent and do what you love, and people will support you," she added.

Heart now joins the ranks of South Korean superstar Song Hye Kyo as a FitFlop ambassador. The two previously met at Paris Fashion Week in 2022.

This September, Heart is set to fly to Europe for the Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks.

The second season of her reality series, "Heart World," is also in the works and will feature her activities and events in the fashion world. —MGP, GMA Integrated News
