Miguel Tanfelix uses his 'tawad' skills while shopping in Peru

How do you spot a Filipino shopping abroad? Just listen for the classic bargaining skills in action.

Miguel Tanfelix is currently exploring Peru, and in his latest Instagram reel, he wandered the colorful streets of Cusco, where he happily haggled with local vendors.

"So far ah, Cusco 'yung pinaka favorite kong city," he said. "Ang ganda dito, we are being surrounded by mountains."

Before approaching the stalls, he even practiced his Spanish, learning how to ask "how much" and how to request a discount.

"Subukan natin 'yung tawad skills natin dito," he said.

Among Miguel's finds was a beautifully designed beaded bracelet, which he proudly showed off in the reel.

Earlier, the Kapuso actor shared his experience in witnessing the beauty of Machu Picchu in Peru, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and included in the New 7 Wonders of the World.

He also shared his adventurous 24 hours of travel from the Philippines to South America.

Prior to South America, he jetted off to Seoul, South Korea with Ysabel Ortega.
