Joy Barcoma's Miss Earth 2025 national costume is made from recycled materials
Joy Barcoma is promoting sustainability with her national costume for Miss Earth 2025.
On Instagram, the beauty queen shared photos of her posing in front of the Rizal Monument in Manila in her national costume, a Mascota gown.
"The Mascota National Costume reimagines heritage through innovation, as it is crafted entirely from recycled materials," Joy wrote in the caption.
"This gown is more than fashion. It’s a statement that sustainability can be elegant, and tradition can evolve beautifully toward a greener future."
Previously, Joy wore an agila-inspired gown for the Miss Earth talent competition. She also won a gold medal for the terno competition.
The beauty queen has also been showing her humor in her Miss Earth journey. She got playful in her introduction video, saying that she meant it when she said she would bring #JoyToTheEarth.
Joy was crowned Miss Philippines Earth in August. She will compete for the international title in Okada Manila on Wednesday, November 5.
