Myrna Esguerra's Miss International 2025 national costume is inspired by pearls and sampaguita

Myrna Esguerra is set to bring the Philippines' radiance to the Miss International 2025 stage.

On Instagram, the Filipina beauty queen unveiled her national costume: a white gown with sampaguita and pearl details that comes with intricate gloves, shawl, and headdress.

Called "Perlas de Sampaguita," the dress is a "tribute to our nation’s treasures, the luminous pearls of the Philippines and the delicate beauty of our national flower, the sampaguita."

"This masterpiece weaves these symbols into the timeless elegance of the traditional Filipiniana, celebrating the purity, grace, and strength of the Filipina," Myrna wrote. "Pilipinas ipinagmamalaki kita, The Filipina way."

Myrna is currently in Japan for the Miss International 2025 pageant.

The coronation night is set for November 27 in Tokyo, where she will vie for the country's seventh crown. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
