Ahtisa Manalo’s final Miss Universe gown by Val Taguba will ‘shock’ fans, says stylist Patty Yap

Patty Yap, Ahtisa Manalo’s stylist for Miss Universe 2025, shared that fans should expect a surprising look for the beauty queen’s final gown.

In an episode of “Ahti5a 4 U,” Patty was asked to give a hint for the Philippine bet’s final gown.

“Masha-shock kayo. Masha-shock kayo kasi, in fairness, nagpakita si Tito Val [Taguba] ng hindi niya aesthetic. Nag-try siyang maging edgy,” she said.

Ahtisa was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2025 in May.

During the preliminary competition’s evening gown portion, the Filipina beauty queen donned a form-fitting midnight blue and gold gown inspired by the Pinctada maxima, or the South Sea Pearl.

It was designed by Mak Tumang, who also created her festival queen-inspired national costume.

The Miss Universe 2025 coronation event is happening on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
