With just a day left before Christmas Eve, shoppers in search of bargains hurried to Divisoria in Manila to do their last-minute shopping.
In James Agustin's "Balitanghali" report on Tuesday, Carlo Mendoza, a father, shared that he headed to the shopping district to buy gifts for his daughter and eight godchildren
"Mahirap na po mamili mamaya kasi gawa ng maraming tao this season. Damit tsaka laruan, alam niyo naman ang mga gusto ng bata," he said.
Rocelyn Martinez, a businesswoman, also took to the shopping district to buy ampao for her employees, sharing that she is only halfway through the list of gifts she has to buy.
"Mamaya siksikan na, kaya inagahan na namin kasi last minute na 'yung iba. May checklist ako, chine-checkan ko 'yun pag okay, accomplished na, so ngayon nakakalahati na, medyo madami-dami po kasi 'yung staff namin sa store eh," she said.
According to Agustin's report, among the popular items in Divisoria are children's toys priced between P25 to P35, such as toy guns, cars, billiards, and board games.
