Is Kiray Celis' wedding gown really worth P5 million? Actress answers

Kiray Celis and Stephan Estopia have officially tied the knot, and their wedding became the talk of the town because of the lavish details of the ceremony.

On Tuesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Kiray was asked whether her wedding gown really cost P5 million, following online discussions among netizens.

The short answer is no.

"Hindi naman 'yun five million, pero sobrang kinikilig ako na mukha palang five million 'yung gown ko," Kiray said.

"Ang ganda-ganda ko 'pag sinasabi niyo sa 'kin na ganun kamahal 'yung gown ko kasi ibig sabihin kaya ko palang dalhin 'yung sa tingin n'yong limang milyon na gown," she added. "Pero hindi siya ganun kamahal."

The newlywed actress also shared that she wore five different ensembles on her wedding day: one for preparation, her bridal gown for the ceremony, another gown for the reception, one for their first dance, and one for the after-party.

Kiray also revealed that some of their godparents gifted them a honeymoon trip to Amanpulo as well as a free rental of their wedding reception venue.

Kiray and Stephan got married on December 13. They announced their engagement in April.

According to Kiray's 2021 vlog, Stephan had been her sibling's best friend for years, and they didn't really speak that time.
