Chappell Roan on viral Grammys 2026 outfit: 'I don't even think this is that outrageous'
Twenty four hours later, Chappell Roan is still trending online for her provocative Grammys outfit.
The singer, best known for her hit "Pink Pony Club" took to the awards show wearing a sheer, red, hooded Mugler dress only for her to reveal on the red carpet that it is actually a topless ensemble, delicately held in place by nipple rings.
On social media, Chappell said she was "giggling" at the reactions to her Grammys dress "because I don’t even think this is THAT outrageous of an outfit."
"The look’s actually so awesome and weird," she continued as she recommended "exercising your free will."
"it’s really fun and silly," Chappell said, thanking the recording academy and those who voted for her.
Chappell was nominated for Record of the Year and Pop Solo Performance, accolades that went to "luther" by Kendrick Lamar with SZA and "Messy" by Lola Young respectively. See the list of Grammy 2026 winners. — LA, GMA Integrated News
