Footwear brand HOKA expands operations in PH with opening of Cebu branch
Footwear brand HOKA on Tuesday announced it has expanded operations in the country as it opens a branch at Ayala Center Cebu.
This is the first location outside Metro Manila and a significant step in its nationwide expansion strategy.
“HOKA’s continued growth in the Philippines reflects the strength of running communities across the country,” Anil Malhotra, MAP Active PH Country Head, said in a press release.
“Expanding into Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao allows us to connect more closely with our customers where they are, while deepening our presence in places where running thrives,'' Malhotra added.
This expansion comes as running culture continues to gain momentum in Cebu, where a growing number of races, run clubs, and fitness communities have helped shape a more active and engaged market.
Further, HOKA also held a special session of the HOKA Run Club in the province to create more opportunities for community building and consistent engagement among runners of all levels.
HOKA is also planning to expand its presence with upcoming store openings at SM City Iloilo and Ayala Abreeza Mall in Davao City, with the aim to bring the brand closer to more running communities across the country.
Prior to its provincial expansion, HOKA had established a strong presence in Metro Manila with stores in One Ayala, GH Mall, SM Aura, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, and Trinoma. — LA, GMA News
