Japan's popular anime store to open first branch in PH

Animate, Japan's popular anime store, is finally arriving in the Philippines!

In a Facebook post, Animate Manila announced its first store in the Philippines, which will launch at One Ayala Mall in Makati City "soon."

"Get ready for the ultimate anime experience," they wrote.

In another social media post, One Ayala shared a photo of the spot where Animate will open.

"From Japan to you. Coming soon," they wrote in the caption.

Animate is a Japanese store chain that sells anime, manga, and pop culture merchandise, including figures, books, apparel, and collectibles.

It is popular for offering both mainstream and exclusive limited-edition items, and has branches in Japan and several other countries such as the United States, China, and South Korea among others.
