NBA Star Anthony Edwards dons custom Randolf barong during Manila tour
NBA star Anthony Edwards held his “Believe That” tour in Manila and didn’t miss the chance to wear a Barong Tagalog.
And it's not just any Barong Tagalog. At an intimate get-together at Manila House, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard donned a custom-made barong by Randolf.
The reimagined short-sleeved barong features details that are personal to Anthony. His jersey number 5 is embroidered on the back; his iconic logo is incorporated in the front; an ode to the “Love Like Luca” wristband; and a modern iteration of the Adidas trefoil.
The athlete paired his barong with the limited-edition Jabbar, made in collaboration with Filipino streetwear label Proudrace.
Meanwhile, Randolf and Proudrace are among the 11 brands showcasing their newest collections at the Manila Fashion Week, scheduled for September 3 to 6.
