Travel expo in February to offer promo rates, discounts

Promo rates and discounts will again be offered to travelers when this year's Travel Tour Expo rolls around on February 5.

Organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), the three-day TTE will be held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City and brings together more than 300 exhibitors, including airlines, hotels and resorts, domestic tour operators, national tourism organizations, and travel agencies.

This year, the PTTE will also hold the International Trade Expo (ITTE) at the same time as the TTE. In a press release, the PTTE described the ITTE as "a business-to-business travel trade expo devoted towards tapping the growing Philippine market for overseas travel."

The TTE was established by the PTAA in 1994 and has attracted thousands over the years for the flight and tour packages it offers. — BM, GMA News
