LRT-1 launches Christmas-themed train
The Light Rail Manila Corporation, the operator of Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1), launched the LRT-1 Christmas Train on Monday, less than a month before Christmas Day.
Several commuters have already expressed their delight over the Christmas-themed train, which surprises passengers from north to south—from Roosevelt to Baclaran.
Aside from Christmas lanterns hanging by the windows of the train and ornaments surrounding the interior, the overhead lights and poles have also been wrapped in red, green, and white paper to exude the Christmas spirit.
“Great job @officialLRT1! I feel Christmas! Good vibes ito for all commuters,” according to Twitter user @JenniferLetran.
