The Philippines celebrates Independence Day

Today the Philippines celebrates the 119th anniversary of its independence.

From an army battalion in Lanao del Norte to festive performers in Capiz, from an orchestra in Zamboanga City to a historic reenactment in Angeles City in Pampanga, here are some of the Independence Day commemorations held all over the country.
