Global media company Time Out put together 50 of the coolest neighborhoods in the world, and making it to the list is Historic Filipinotown in Los Angeles.

Time Out described Historic Filipinotown, or HiFi for short, as "a convergence of cultures" that "reflects L.A. as its best."

Everything Filipino can be found in this cool neighborhood: Pinoy street food (even balut), gin-infused drinks, and even jeepneys!

Here are some of the restaurants recommended by Time Out.

New York represented hard last week. ?? #Deadass #Repost @eatingwithkaos ??? Smoke Meat Every Day. Especially if it's BBQ with Filipino flavors! We're making it a thing to visit The Park's Finest every LA trip. This spread features:? ? Mt. Mayon Hot Link Medley - smokey, spicy, and sweet sausages and longanisa, so addicting? ? Mt. Taal Chicken - crispy smoked roasted chicken? ? San Pablo Pulled Pork - slow roasted pork shoulder? ? Timuay Tri-Tip - seasoned and sliced sirloin beef with horseradish crema? ? Ann's Cornbread Bibingka - fusing the beloved rice flour bibingka filipino dessert with corn bread (free with yelp check in!)? ? And rice and beer and hard cider to round out a great meal #losangelesfood #dtla #dinela #discoverla #socaleats #lafoodie #lafoodscene #instafood #instayum #lafoodscene #wheretoeatinLA #LAfoodtour #foodlovers #eaterla #losangeles #lafood #LA #pinoyfoodie #filipino #filipinofood #bbq #brisket #tritip #bibingka #pulledpork #hotlink #theparksfinest #chicken #eatingwithkaos
