Sampaloc Lake in Laguna all aglow with Christmas lights

SAN PABLO CITY - Tourists have been flocking to Sampaloc Lake in San Pablo, Laguna to view the magical Christmas lights seemingly afloat on water.

Starting Friday night, boats from five barangays began showcasing their Christmas decor following the theme "Ang Paskong ating kinagisnan ay katulad ng kalikasang kailangan nating pagka-ingatan."

The floating Christmas lights display had churches, Christmas trees, and other designs.

San Pableños also lit up their giant Christmas tree on the boardwalk.

The Christmas lights and decor were all environment-friendly as they were made from recyclable materials such as plastic bottles.

The Christmas boats will stay at the lake until the first week of January 2020. —KG, GMA News
