Rhea Santos shows you 7 cheery Christmas destinations in Vancouver, Canada

Are you up for a fun, holiday adventure in Vancouver, Canada?

Just as the Christmas cheer is starting to fill up the streets in Canada, your morning girl Rhea Santos took Kapuso viewers on a virtual tour around her favorite "new normal" destinations on Unang Hirit's "Touristar" segment on Monday.

The first stop was Stanley Park, which is hundreds and hundreds of hectares worth of walking trails, rainforests, beaches and historical landmarks — perfect for families and nature lovers.

Rhea sat by the English Bay where she sometimes goes for some peace and quiet while listening to the soothing sound of the waves crashing on the shore.

The Filipino reporter and TV host also showed UH viewers a famous public art installation called "A-maze-ing Laughter," which is made up of 14 bronze statues that depict different faces of happiness.

Rhea then made her way to downtown Vancouver to a popular shopping district called Robson Street, where you can also find some amazing poutine.

She also visited some of the many pop-up floral destinations all over the city that were crafted by some of Vancouver's finest florists.

Of course, Rhea stopped by the Guardian Angels Parish where she and her fellow Pinoys gave thanks for all the blessings they've received this year despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

To know more about these eye-catching destinations and the safety protocols being observed in British Colombia, Canada, watch Rhea's full "Touristar" segment on UH here.
