Missing travel so much? "Biyahe ni Drew" took its viewers to South Korea, virtually showing some of the fun activities travellers can do there.

Despite the pandemic, some of South Korea's travel destinations have opened up for tourists with proper implementation of protocols.

Below we've listed down 5 fun things travelers can explore in Korea.

1. Sky Bridge Tour in Lotte World

Biyahero correspondent Belgium Villanueva, who is a resident of Korea, visited Lotte World Tower and tried the Sky Bridge Tour to give a peek of the tourist spot.

At 556 meters tall and with 123 stories to its name, the Lotte World Tower is considered as the 5th tallest building in the world. It has an 11-meter bridge you can cross, that will give you quite a view of Seoul. Don't forget to look on the other side to see the Han River.

If you're not an adrenaline junkie, you can still experience the view from inside the building, through the glass floor. You can even just chill out by the windows and relish in the view.

2. Eat hotteok pancakes

Strolling around Seoul wouldn't be complete without the street food. One of their best-selling and popular munchies is the hotteok or the Korean sweet pancakes.

Korean YouTuber and tour guide Jolie Park said hotteok is a popular street snack during winter.

3. Healing walks with alpacas

Meanwhile, if you are an animal lover, you might want to check out the Alpaca World in Gangwon-Do. Here, alpacas are treated as therapists to help remove sadness.

You can watch the alpacas or go on "healing walks" with them.

4. Visit Itaewon

If you're planning to visit Korea later this year — Q4, maybe? — you might want to check out Itaewon. It boasts of a vibrant night life and has beautiful bright lights, thanks to the Lantern Festival that Itaewon celebrates around that time.

It's where Koreans and tourists gather to go on food trips and have drinks with families and friends.

According to Belgium, there were fewer visitors in last year's Lantern Festival, because of the pandemic. A pity because authorities made the 2020 edition a lot more special to attract more visitors.

5. Travel back in Korea's history through their museum

You can travel back in Korea's history by going to their museum K-Style Hub where you will learn about their culture.

It also shows some of the food being served back in the day to Koreans and the country's famous pastes including kochujang and soy bean paste.
