This vegetable farm in Ilocos Norte is also rich source of ‘hugot’ and pick-up lines
A vegetable farm in Ilocos Norte has been perking up netizens with hilarious "hugot" and pick-up lines sprouting on every corner.
As featured on GMA-7's "Unang Balita," the INUMA Farm greets visitors with a witty sign board at the entrance that reads: "Kumain ng vegetable para ika’y maging jowable."
Singles beware: Rows of fresh produce are marked with reverberating "hugot" lines like "Kamatis sa mga tangang piniling magtiis,” and “Patani para sa lahat ng aking pagbabaka-sakali."
Visitors would also be delighted by cheeky pick-up lines "‘Upo’ pero mas gusto ko ang matamis mong ‘oo’," and “Papaya ka ba? Papaya-kap sana ako.”
According to “Unang Balita,” the Inuma Farm was started by the local Muslim community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Apart from the hilarious signs, visitors are welcome to pick vegetables for free! — Margaret Claire Layug/LA, GMA News
