Airline names Singapore flights '1989' ahead of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour

Swifties, are you ready to board flight 5J 1989 bound to Singapore?

Cebu Pacific hopped on to the excitement for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour, naming its flights on March 1 to 9 after the American popstar's fifth studio album.

As seen on their website booking page, their Flight 5J 813 from Manila to Singapore on March 1 to 9 has been changed to 5J 1989. The flight will depart from Manila at 5:25 a.m. and will arrive in Singapore at 9:25 a.m.

1989 is also Taylor Swift's birth year. The album contains her popular songs "Blank Space," "Shake It Off," and "Bad Blood."

On their Facebook page, Cebu Pacific reshared a screenshot of their Taylor-Swift-themed flight and wrote: "Look what you made us do," with the hashtag #1989.

Taylor will headline six sold-out shows in Lion City—the only South East Asia stop for her The Eras Tour—from March 2 to 4, and March 7 to 9, where Sabrina Carpenter will join as a special guest.

Taylor's The Eras Tour is in support of her 2022 album "Midnights," which includes her recent hits "Karma" featuring Ice Spice, and "Snow on the Beach."
