PAL now allows small dogs on board all domestic flights
Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Thursday announced the expansion of its FurPAL program to all domestic flights, allowing passengers to fly with their small dog in-cabin to all local destinations.
Under the program, bookings will be charged P2,500 for one-way base fares for small dog breeds up to 10 kilograms and at least eight weeks old, and fully weaned. Passengers may bring one pet each, with a limit of three small dogs per flight.
“As the pioneer of pet air travel in the Philippines, PAL celebrates the unbreakable bond between people and their pets. This expansion helps more travelers enjoy seamless, safe, and memorable journeys with their beloved furpals,” the flag carrier said in an advisory.
Pets must be transported in a soft-sided, leak-proof carrier with pee pads and at least two ventilation panels, and must be inside their carriers and placed under the seat in front of the passenger throughout the flight.
Launched in November 2025, the FurPAL program initially covered flights to Boracay, Bohol, and Siargao. — LA, GMA Integrated News
